I was working at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Troy when a knock at my door lead me to receive a Seed of Happiness. This lovely woman was giving them to employees at the hospital in memory of the children and teachers lost at Sandy Hook elementary school. Tears welled up and decided I had to share my story with you and I posted it on Facebook for all to see. My daughter was in first grade when this tragedy unfolded. What a wonderful idea you came up with and what wonderful people are spreading the smiles!

In 2006 Seeds of Happiness started out as leftover lumps of clay that Mark Borella made into little smiles to give to friends who were going through hard times and needed a little smile.
