"I received a seed of happiness from my friend Sean-Michael who I met through a support group, We both share a rare blood disease that literally makes us allergic to life and have organ problems. I have been struggling to cope with getting feeding tube and consuming hypoallergenic formula, while Sean has been struggling with making it a day without having anaphylaxis. So while Sean was in town to see a specialist, we decided to go shopping like normal people which can be hard to do when you have non-stop allergic reactions). When we left the store, Sean surprised me with a little pink and blue Seed of Happiness. It now sits by my bed next to my EpiPens and reminds me to smile through the hard times."
