I gave my second Seed to my Daughter-in-Law on October 17th. While on vacation to Denver, Colorado visiting my son and his wife, we got the word that her grandfather had fallen and struck the back right side of his head on the driveway. She and I drove left at 6am and got to Topeka, Kansas when she got the word he had passed away.
Upon arrival at our home, I gave her the second Seed as this was the second tragedy in 5 weeks for her.
I can say that the funeral was a celebration of her grandfather’s long life and a favorite memory was shared by my daughter in law. Every year at Christmas, her grandpa would pick out and give her nail polish. He then challenge her to find a car to match that polish at the car shows they attended together.
So remember, it is not always the big things, but the tiny things we do that one remembers. Give a Seed, Start a Smile

In 2006 Seeds of Happiness started out as leftover lumps of clay that Mark Borella made into little smiles to give to friends who were going through hard times and needed a little smile.
