Have fun. Raise money. Cure childhood cancer. —St. Baldrick’s Foundation

Worldwide, 175,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. And in the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease—more than AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies and diabetes combined.

Why the shaved heads? Volunteers shave because kids with cancer often lose their hair during treatment, and they stand proudly bald beside them. “Shavees” sign up on the website, collect money from friends and family and show up at an event to take their turn in the barber’s chair.

It’s fun, it’s emotional, and it’s for a crucially important cause. Every St. Baldrick’s event needs a strong volunteer committee. Get registered.
Seeds of Happiness offers a special St. Baldrick’s Seed. The cost is $10 of which, we donate $9 to The St. Baldrick’s Foundation. During the past year we have raised almost $600 for childhood cancer research.

Children with cancer need your help. Join the fight. Donate.
